1980 Chevrolet Extended Van - $200.00
350 CID, 2WD, 3/4 Ton, Tow Hitch
This van has been used on our farm as a 2nd towing vehicle. It pulled horses and livestock.
We didn't need it for that anymore, so we used it for storage of materials. It developed a radiator leak,
so I parked it and removed the battery to use in another vehicle. Recently I decided to put it on the road
again, as it is still tagged and insured. I put stop leak in the radiator and put a good battery in.
When I turned the key there was noise. I checked connections and then replaced the starter and selenoid.
I inadverntly burnt a hole in a transmission line. Still no noise. I suspect the ignition switch,
as I have replaced that once before. I have decided to not make further repairs. The engine and tranmission
is in good condition as it ran great before. I have thought about removing them for use in another vehicle,
but will try to sell first. The asking price is well under the value on the drive train.
